Safety rods for TEMO·1000

This kit includes two safety rods, designed to ensure the proper locking of the TEMO·1000 electric motor onto its mount during use. They provide an additional level of security to prevent any accidental disengagement while navigating.

Thanks to its mechanism, the safety rods cannot be inserted unless the motor is correctly seated in its mounting bracket. The safety rods also serves as a reliable positioning indicator, allowing the user to visually confirm that the motor is securely fixed before starting it.

Subjected to repeated stress—especially during installation and removal phases—the safety rods is prone to wear. We recommend inspecting its condition regularly and replacing it if any deformation or material fatigue is observed.

Usage advice: For added safety and peace of mind, we recommend always securing the motor to the boat with a safety line, especially in exposed environments or if there is any doubt about the stability of the installation.

What should I do with my old safety rods?

The safety rods must be taken to a recycling facility (check your local sorting guidelines). The cardboard packaging should be sorted separately with other recyclable cardboard materials.
